Akkerman's Truck Repair Since 2018

Akkerman's Truck Repair is currently owned and operated by Kyle Akkerman. While Kyle found happiness in the inner workings and mechanics of the trucks and equipment, the Akkerman family has a deeply rooted passion for the trucking industry. While visiting our office you'll find old relics and photos of Kyle's Grandfathers trucks. Kyle's Grandfather drove and operated semi trucks and his father currently operates ands drives for a major local concrete company. 

Starting as a diesel mechanic with the same local concrete company his father currently works for Kyle was able to establish his foundation in diesel and heavy equipment repair. Kyle soon began working for CAT where he took every opportunity to receive several certifications. Kyle has completed accelerated courses in HVAC diagnosing, advanced braking systems Negative flow hydraulic systems, hydrostatic drive systems and advanced electric.. just to name a few. Already certified in many areas, we are still growing fast and staying up to date on the newest certifications and training! Kyle began doing mobile service and quickly  Akkerman's Truck Repair transitioned to a full service brick and mortar shop while still offered a dedicated responsive mobile service option.
